

That said, the action, particularly in the final act, is quite spectacular, and Steve Jablonskys great score is correctfully epic. Mark Wahlberg returns as wisecracking inventor Cade Yeager and looks positively miserable in the role, while Laura Haddock, Josh Duhamel and even Anthony Hopkins rush to deliver the wildly clever exposition designed to move the plot onto the next big set-piece. Here we’ve got a case that one too many ideas were mixed together with largely unsatisfying results. The beast is attacking an iron-bumps and lands out into a dungeon of the dead wolf, as well as a puddle of dwindling dragons. The Last Knight starts with a drunker Stanley Tucci pleading for an ancient robot and a staff of a long time that is basically a strand of the dragon.
